Elisa Danae Alessi

Elisa Alessi lives in Zurich and works as a scenographer, and, stage and costume designer.

After completing her studies in interior design and scenography at the FHNW Academy of Arts and Design in Basel, she worked as an interior designer in different design studios and as an assistant set designer at Stadttheater Bern. In 2013 she started her independent stage and costume design career, working with different directors and formations in and around Switzerland. During her career she has worked with the following directors and choreographers: Katharina Ramser, Udo van Ooyen, Dieter Kaegi, Volker Hesse, Olivier Keller, Jan Stephan Schmieding, Katharina Rupp, Kai Anne Schuhmacher, Cathy Marston, Tabea Martin, Sonia Rocha, Félix Duméril, and many more.

Many of her works have been produced at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen, the Stadttheater Bern/Bühnen Bern, the Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn, the Kellertheater Winterthur and the Opernhaus Zürich.
